Sunday 10 May 2026
Dear Church,
I’m looking forward to gathering together with you again this Sunday. This week, Jack will be preaching from Daniel 9:1–19. It’s a wonderful passage that shows us God’s mercy and faithfulness as Daniel prays on behalf of God’s people.
This Sunday is also Mother’s Day. As a church family, we’ll take some time to give thanks to God for our mums and for the many women who care for us, encourage us, support us, and serve others so faithfully. We’re deeply grateful for the love and care they show in so many different ways.
A couple of exciting things are happening this Friday night as our youth ministries kick off again for Term 2.
Radi8 is back for the first time this term! Radi8 is for kids in school years 4–6, and we’d love to encourage all our Radi8 kids to bring their friends along.
TC Youth is also on this Friday night, and we’re especially excited to launch a new evangelism series called Vox, which will run over the next four TC Youth sessions. It’s a great opportunity for our young people to invite friends along to hear about Jesus. Tom has also organised a KFC feast to accompany Vox, so it should be a great evening for the youth.
It’s not just our youth who have opportunities to invite friends to hear about Jesus. In June, we’re going to run another Hope Explored course. Over three sessions, Hope Explored presents the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and provides an opportunity to discover how he fulfils three great longings we all experience: the longing for hope, peace, and purpose.
Hope Explored will run over the first three Wednesday nights in June at Hark Coffee Roasters. It’s a relaxed and welcoming environment. Most people who live in and around Unley are familiar with it. Can I encourage you to start praying for friends and family you might like to invite to Hope Explored. If you’ve already invited someone or plan to invite someone along, please let me know. The TCU staff would love to pray for you as you proclaim Jesus.
Looking forward to gathering together this Sunday.
