Pastor’s Letter

Pastor’s Letter

Sunday 2 August 2026

Hi everyone!

This Sunday we continue our series in John 15, looking at verses 9–17.

It’s a deep and rich passage about who we are in Jesus and what it means to remain in him. Jesus speaks about his love for us, our love for one another, and the joy that comes from living as his friends.

Soup after the service

It’s been so cold lately! So this Sunday we’re going to have soup and freshly baked bread available straight after the service.

The soup and hot bread will be delicious, but they are really just a means to help you stay a little longer so that you might do the excellent work of loving each other. Who could you encourage this Sunday?  Maybe there will be things that come out of reading John 15 that will prompt you to share some thoughts with others. John 15 reminds us that we’re not meant to remain in Jesus on our own — we are to love one another.

In The Vine — This Sunday evening
In The Vine is on this Sunday evening. A great opportunity for young adults to gather together, grow in Jesus and encourage one another.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

God bless,
Karl
