Sunday 1 March 2026
Over the last four weeks we’ve been considering our purpose as a church. Here’s the sentence one more time:
Our purpose under God is to make disciples who remain in Jesus, established in love for the glory of God.
I hope you’ve found this series helpful as we’ve reflected on the what, why, and howof church life together.
This week, while our purpose as a church remains the same, we’re beginning a new teaching series. In the lead-up to Easter we’ll be considering “The Road to the Cross.” We’re returning to Luke’s Gospel; not where we left off at the end of chapter 14, but toward the end of chapter 22. Over the next six weeks we’ll walk alongside Jesus as he heads to the cross. I hope this series will help you prepare your head and your heart for Easter.
Have you considered who you might invite to one of our Easter services this year? Now would be a great time to start praying for that person.
This Sunday and next, Jack Page will be preaching. Then on March 15, Thomas Hodge will be preaching for the first time as a Ministry Apprentice. Make sure you put that date in your diary!
God Bless,
Karl
